JICA Project

The project involves a Partnership between the Government of Mozambique and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), in which JICA will provide technical and financial support for the development of the Port of Nacala. The project aims to increase productivity in cargo handling at the Port, and will also contribute to economic development and poverty alleviation in the northern region, as well as in neighboring countries, namely Malawi and Zambia.
